Admittedly, I have a problem.

For context, I started this newsletter almost 2 years ago and fell off. Between a new kiddo, wife, and business, it became a lot.

Additionally, I needed time to learn, explore, and understand exactly what I think would be of value to sink time, effort, and resources into.

Now for my little problem… I love it all. In the face of consumption and thinking I needed to niche down, to do it this way, not that way. Being direct about a single problem and solving it is what online gurus have been shouting on the internet.

The truth is, I love building brands. I love video production. I love photography. I love design. I love psychology. I love figuring out what drives people to move in certain ways with marketing. I love business, leverage, and economics.

How the hell do you consolidate all of those swirling topics into a cohesive, singular problem to solve? You don't. There are many problems to overcome on the journey to building a brand or business.

Through about a million daydreamed concepts of what challenge to solve, I landed on this: "Helping founders close the gap between a good business and a high-performing brand."

Why? In my tenure of almost 13 years now with 100+ brands, I've gone from college dropout to videographer/photographer → commercial video director → creative/marketing director → business owner overseeing a team of 10+ (New website here, btw :))

I've seen the patterns. The ceilings. The gaps that keep good businesses from becoming high-performing brands.

In this weekly newsletter, "The Home Office," my team and I will be your guides. We'll peel back the curtain on the why behind brand-building techniques.

Let me be clear: we are not gurus, and this will not be generic fluff. We live in the digital world with our clients day to day and believe in sharing the principles and psychology behind what has worked, flopped, and educated us in building better businesses.

So, if you've ever asked yourself:

  • How can I or my business be perceived as a go-to in my space?
  • How can I create a narrative that attracts the right people to me?
  • How can I build a digital infrastructure that works for me while I sleep?
  • How can I get more people to see, engage, and buy my products/services?

Then I wholeheartedly welcome you to stick it out with us.

Depending on where you are, we're building three ways to help 2026:

  1. Some of you will want the frameworks and resources to build a better brand/ online business yourself. (I'll share those.)
  2. Some of you will want guidance and community as you build. (We're launching an advisory for that.)
  3. Some of you will want us to build it for you. (That's what we do now, and you can learn more here.)

We intend to give more than we take, listen more than we talk, and connect with builders who have a little pizzazz for creating badass stuff.
